DESCRIPTION |
| Trumpet Daffodils |
Makes an impressive mass display. Always
has just one flower per stem. Large flowers can
be noticed from a distance. Characterized by a long corona (trumpet), which is
as long as, or longer than, the petals. |
| Large Cupped Daffodils |
For impressive mass displays or
plantings in clumps. Can combine with early tulips. Always one flower per
stem. Comes in a variety of cup/petal color combinations. |

DESCRIPTION |
| Cyclamineus Narcissi |
Among the earliest to flower and are very durable. They are
known for their reflexing flower petals. Very fragrant and well suited for
forcing in pots and patio containers. |
| Jonquilla Daffodils |
Foliage is often reed-like or at least very narrow and dark
green. Most like the hot, baking sun, so therefore are perfect for
southern gardens. Very sweet fragrance. |
| Specialty Daffodils |
Short stems and brightly colored
flowers. Excellent naturalizing varieties. Since flowers are small, plant in
clumps or masses in locations where they can be noticed. Often produce
several stems per bulbs. |
| Poeticus Daffodils |
Usually one flower per stem. Corona or
cup usually cup shaped. Great perennializers with a
spicy fragrance. |
| Tazetta Daffodils |
Often 5 to 20 flowers to a stem.
Leaves are broad. Excellent perennializers with a sweet
fragrance. |
| Split Corona Daffodils |
Unusual shaped flowers with a split
cup. Not often used for mass displays but rather at focal point where
flowers can be noticed. |
| Small Cup Daffodils |
One flower to a stem, corona or cup not more than
one-third the length of the perianth segments. Great for
perennializing and naturalizing. |
| Double Flowered Daffodils |
Unusual shaped flowers have no cup but
a double ruffled center. Use as formal plantings so flowers and fragrance
can be enjoyed. |
