VARIETY PICTURE HEIGHT DESCRIPTION
Black-Eyed Susan, Rudbeckia Hirta   36" Wildflower native to the Great Plains of North America. Spectacular 4" flowers consist of golden orange petals surround a chocolate brown center. Tolerates heat and drought. Plant in the sun.  
Blanket Flower, Gallardia   24" Large, striking bronze scarlet daisy like flowers, heavily tipped with golden yellow, grow on strong, stiff stems. Good for cut flowers. thrives in sandy soil. Plant in the sun. 
CA Poppy, A. Orange 6" to 8"

 

Hardy plant with fern-like foliage. Large brilliant orange blooms open in May and June. Very showy. Great for areas with other later blooming perennials. Plant in the sun.
Coreopsis, Sunburst   24" Bright sunshine yellow daisy-like flowers sit high above the lance shaped leaves. Blooms from mid summer on through to fall. Plant in full sun. 
Forget-Me-Not, Myosotis   6" to 8" Masses of tiny blue flowers are borne along graceful aching branches. Flowers in late spring to early summer. Beautiful planted with spring bulbs. Plant in partial shade.
Hollyhocks, Indian Spring Mixture   36" to 48" Old fashioned favorite, excellent as a background. Single and double flowers in shades of rose, pink and white can reach 5' tall. Blooms the first year from seed. Plant in the sun.
Lupines, Russell Hybrid   36" Elegant spires of blue, pink, red, yellow, purple and many bi-color flowers held high above the foliage. Very nice for cutting. Thrives where soil is rich. Plant in the sun. 
Painted Daisy   36" Showy and reliably hardy. Daisy-like 3" flowers come in every color but blue, all with a bright yellow center. Striking when planted in mass. Vivid green, fern-like foliage. Plant in sun to partial shade.
Shirley Poppy, Double  Mixture   18" Cup shaped, silky, double, tissue-like blooms in salmon, rose and scarlet. Vigorous plant that makes an excellent cut flower. Blooms early in the year. Plant in the sun.
Purple Coneflower, Echinacea   36" This popular flower has a showy, cone shaped gold center, ringed with a single row of purple petals. Tall plants bloom all summer, even under adverse conditions. Attracts butterflies. Plant in sun to partial shade.
Shasta Daisy, Alaska   36" Prized for its sparkling white petals surrounding a cheery yellow center. Large, 4" to 5" single flowers bloom all summer. Old fashioned favorite. Long stems make great cut flowers. plant in the sun.
Sweet William   12" to 18" Clusters of pink, rose, white and red showy, double flowers that grow in mounds. Biennial, but self-seeds easily. Blooms early in the summer. Great for rock gardens or as a border. Plant in the sun.
