Description |
| Kaufmanniana |
Bright colored flowers with short stems can withstand windy
conditions. Flowers open almost flat to a star with bright inside coloring and
close to a cone shaped bud at night. Also called 'Water Lily Tulips.' These are
well suited for rock gardens. |
| Fosteriana |
Distinguished by their large, oblong flowers and bright green foliage. Excellent for displays and naturalizing. Strong stems can withstand
windy conditions. |
| Greigii |
Bright, solid color flowers with interesting chocolate
brown stripes on the foliage. Naturalizes well. Long lasting blooms open out
wide in the sun revealing a deep colored heart. |

| Double |
Large and long lasting flowers that resemble
peonies. Mass plantings are especially stunning. Because of the large flowers,
severe rain and wind can cause damage, protected areas are recommended. Make
great cut flowers. |
| Fringed |
Unusual flowers with fringed petal edges. Best used at focal points where the
unusual flowers can be appreciated. Very elegant, and have an extremely long
flower-life. |
| Parrot |
Exceptionally large,
irregularly fringed petals. In full sun, flowers open almost horizontally. Plant
where flowers can be noticed. Plants are heavy, protect from wind. The vigorous
foliage is bluish green. |

windy conditions. Have large, angular shaped flowers with narrow tapered leaves.
With the large range of colors, these are perfect for planting color

Most popular landscape tulips because of the
large cup shaped petals and brilliant flower colors. Tall sturdy stems make
great cut flowers. Excellent for naturalizing. Due to the abundant, vigorous
green foliage and brilliant color blooms, it is an excellent class for large
plantings. |
| Single Late Tulips |
For late season displays. Among the tallest of all tulips. Use in larger groups
for best effect. Great cut flowers. |
