Eggplant

Eggplants are actually fruits, and classified botanically as berries. Thomas Jefferson has been credited with bringing eggplants to America, but they were not an immediate hit here. Until the 20th century, eggplants were used primarily for decorations not eating.

Approximately 96,000 seeds per lb. 1/8 oz. is needed for a 100 foot row, 2 lb. per acre.
