I have been growing onions for quite a few years now. Usually, I get my sets from a local store or greenhouse/nursery. Well, all my local sources dried up, so I tried ordering online. This past season I tried onion sets from DeBruyn. I got 5 lbs & the sets looked pretty nice. Not many withered or moldy ones like I got before when I often was scrapping the bottom of the barrel at my former sources. I plugged them in the ground and promptly left for an extended vacation (7 wks). No weeding (although they were mulched). No watering. When I got home, I found the biggest onions I have EVER harvested. Thanks DeBruyn!
