Tomatillo

Tomatillo is a fruit encased in a papery husk. When fully ripe it is yellow, but it is most commonly used when green. While in the same family as tomatoes, tomatillos lack the lycopene found in tomatoes. But they do have different types of anti-oxidant phytochemicals with anti-bacterial and anti-cancer properties.
